We’re setting up the first ten shops ourselves.

Wakeman answers the calls your team misses, in your business’s name. It sorts the gas smell from the dripping tap, alerts your on-call tech for the real emergencies, and writes every job down for you. For the first ten shops, Front Desk is free for 60 days, we set it up with you, and we go through every call together for the first two weeks.

What you get

  • Front Desk, free for 60 days. Answers the calls your team misses, day and night, with up to 500 minutes of calls over the 60 days.
  • Set up with you, on one call. About thirty minutes: your hours, your services, who is on call, and the forwarding on your phone, done together.
  • Every call reviewed with you for 14 days. We read each one, tell you what it got right and wrong, and fix what it got wrong.
  • A person, not a queue. The founder, on (775) 510-2241.

In return

What we ask of you

Forward your missed calls

For the 60 days. You can switch it off from your phone at any time.

Two short check-ins

At two weeks and at six weeks, where you tell us what annoyed you.

Permission to share your totals

Calls answered, emergencies flagged and jobs booked. Never your customers’ names, numbers or addresses.

A short write-up, if it works

With your shop’s name on it. If it doesn’t work, you owe us nothing but the reason.

What to expect

It will get some calls wrong — a mangled street name, a question about your pricing it shouldn’t answer. That’s why every call is recorded and summed up for you, and why the first two weeks are reviewed by a person. Nothing it does is hidden from you.

Who it’s for

Shops that feel the missed calls

2 to 15 trucks

Plumbing, HVAC and electrical shops in the US.

40+ calls a month

And you know some of them ring out.

You run Google ads or use Jobber

From October 1, 2026, Google Local Services Ads charges for many missed calls during business hours, and Wakeman can put booked jobs into Jobber. How the Google change works

How it goes

From first text to day 60

  1. Tell us about your shop

Text, call or email. We reply the same day and book a thirty-minute set-up call.

  2. Set up together

Hours, services, on-call tech, and your phone’s forwarding. You call it yourself before it takes a real call.

  3. 14 days of review

Every call read, the misses fixed, and a short note to you on what happened.

  4. Day 60: your choice

Stay at $349 a month, change plan, or switch the forwarding off with us.

Common questions

Why is it free?

Because we need real calls from real shops more than we need your first 60 days of fees. Ten shops set up properly will teach us more than a hundred sign-ups we never speak to — and we would rather earn a write-up about your shop than make one up.

What happens on day 60?

You choose. Stay on Front Desk at $349 a month, switch to a smaller plan, or leave. If you leave, we walk you through switching the forwarding off on your phone, and that is the end of it. There is no card on file to charge.

Is there a limit during the free period?

Up to 500 minutes of calls over the 60 days. We watch it with you and will tell you well before you get close. If it is ever used up, new calls ring your on-call phone instead, and nothing is charged.

Do I have to change my number?

No. Your number stays on your trucks, your website and your Google listing. Your phone rings exactly as it does now, and only the calls nobody picks up are forwarded to Wakeman.

What if I only want nights and weekends?

Then After Hours ($149 a month after the free period) is the plan, and we will set it up that way. Front Desk is the default because it also catches the calls you miss during the day — which Google Local Services Ads charges for from October 1, 2026, if you run those ads.

Will it sound like a robot to my customers?

It says it is an AI assistant for your business at the start of every call, because callers deserve to know. After that it sounds like a calm person who knows plumbing, heating or electrical work. Listen to a call on our home page and judge for yourself.

Who at Wakeman will I be dealing with?

The founder, on (775) 510-2241 and info@wakeman.ai. Not a support queue.
