You make the phone ring. We make sure somebody answers it.
If you run Google Ads or Local Services Ads for plumbing, HVAC and electrical shops, you know how a good lead dies: it rings, nobody picks up, and the client decides your leads are bad. Wakeman answers the calls your clients miss, in their business name. You earn 20% of what each client you refer pays us, every month, for 24 months.
- No fee to join
- We set up and support your clients
- They keep their number
The lead you paid for is only as good as whoever answers it.
Your reports count calls. Your client counts jobs. The gap between the two is the calls that rang out while the owner was under a sink, and the ones that came in at 9pm. That gap is where agencies get fired, and it is the one part of the funnel you cannot touch.
From October 1, 2026, Local Services Ads adds a direct cost: Google charges a missed call during business hours as a lead once the caller has waited more than 20 seconds, according to its August notice to US advertisers. Google’s ranking help also says missed calls may count against how responsive a business looks. Here is what that costs, worked out.
What your client gets
- Calls their team does not pick up are answered in their business name, day or night, on the plan they choose.
- Emergencies — a gas smell, a carbon monoxide alarm, smoke, water near electrics, major flooding, sewage coming up — get safety steps written in advance, and Wakeman alerts the on-call phone during the call. A safety net, not an emergency service.
- A written summary of every call in their dashboard: who, where, what is broken, and what was agreed, with the recording and transcript. When a job is booked, the tech gets a text with the address.
- If they use Jobber and turn booking on, booked jobs go straight into it.
- A call list they can download, to see which Local Services charges are worth questioning with Google.
What we will not claim to your clients
The terms, in plain words
- You earn 20% of what each client you refer pays Wakeman, every month, for their first 24 months.
- We pay monthly, on what we actually collected from your clients the month before.
- A client is yours if they sign up through your link, or if you tell us their business name before they sign up.
- No minimum number of clients, no fee, and you can stop referring whenever you like.
- Once a month we send you each client’s numbers — calls answered, emergencies flagged, jobs booked — if the client agrees to share them.

Common questions
Do my clients have to change their phone number?
No. They keep the number on their ads, their trucks and their Google profile. Calls their team does not pick up are forwarded to Wakeman, and they can turn that off again from their own phone.
Who supports the client?
We do — setup, questions and billing. You do not have to learn the product or field a call about it. If a client asks you something you cannot answer, send them to us.
Can I resell it under my own brand?
Not today, and we would rather say so than sell you a white label that is really our logo with yours pasted on. If you manage 25 or more home-service clients, email us and we will talk about what a wholesale arrangement could look like.
What does it cost my client?
After Hours $149, Front Desk $349, Dispatch $829 a month, each with included minutes and a published per-minute rate after that. Front Desk is the plan we suggest first, because it answers during business hours as well as nights and weekends. There is a free trial and no contract.
Does it work for calls from Local Services Ads?
Yes. A Local Services Ads call reaches your client's phone through Google's tracking number, like any other call. When your client's phone forwards the calls nobody picks up, Wakeman answers them in the business's name. Every call is recorded and sorted, and the client can download that list if they need to show Google what happened on a call.
How do you know which clients are mine?
Your link carries your agency's name, so a client who signs up through it is credited to you automatically. If a client signs up some other way, tell us their business name before they do and we will credit you by hand.
Will you sell my clients anything else?
No. We do not sell marketing, so we are not competing for your retainer, and we will not pitch your clients anything but Wakeman.
