Jobber and Housecall Pro both run the office side of a trade business: scheduling, quotes, invoices and card payments, from a phone in the van. Where they differ is in how they price it: what each plan includes, how many people it covers, and how you pay. Here is each company's own pricing, read on October 22, 2026, side by side. Prices are a month, before sales tax and before the sign-up offers both were running, which change.

If it's just you

Jobber sells three plans for one person, and Housecall Pro one. Billed yearly, Jobber's cheapest costs about half as much as Housecall Pro's; Housecall Pro's Basic lists job costing and a price book, and Jobber lists job costing on Grow, its third plan.

One userA month, billed yearlyMonth to month
Jobber Core$29$49
Jobber Connect$99$139
Jobber Grow$149$199
Housecall Pro Basic$59$79

Jobber also bills monthly on a one-year term: $39, $119 and $169 a month. Housecall Pro's next plan, Essentials, includes 5 users, so a one-person shop that wants it pays the team price: $149 a month billed yearly.

For a team

Team planUsers includedA month, billed yearlyMonth to month
Jobber Connect5$149$199
Jobber Grow5$229$299
Jobber Plus5$399$499
Housecall Pro Essentials5$149$189
Housecall Pro Max8$299$329

Billed yearly, the first team plans cost the same, $149 a month; month to month, Housecall Pro's Essentials is $10 less. For six to ten people, Jobber's next size includes ten users: $229 a month for Connect, $299 for Grow and $449 for Plus, billed yearly. Housecall Pro's Max includes 8 users and adds $35 a month for each one after that. Both send you to their sales team for the top plan: Jobber's Plus says “Contact Sales” and Housecall Pro's Max “Book Demo”.

What each plan adds

From the plan cards on each pricing page. Each plan includes everything in the one before it, and both companies list more features on their full comparison pages.

PlanWhat its card lists
Jobber CoreOnline booking, quotes, invoices with online payments, a website, reporting, and over 100 apps to connect
Jobber ConnectAutomatic reminders and payments, job checklists, quote and invoice follow-ups, QuickBooks Online sync, time and expenses
Jobber GrowQuotes with pictures and reviews, optional line items, automatic time tracking, job costing, two-way texting, your own automations
Jobber PlusUnlimited job photos and videos, crew scheduling, expense capture with profit alerts, custom reports, Pipeline, Marketing Suite, Receptionist, dedicated onboarding and Premium Support
Housecall Pro BasicOnline booking, scheduling and dispatch, estimates and invoices, payments and customer financing, a price book, job costing, review management
Housecall Pro EssentialsRoutes, flat-rate pricing, checklist automations, photo reports, employee GPS tracking, commissions, QuickBooks Online sync
Housecall Pro MaxA sales proposal tool, recurring service plans, route optimization, open API access, a dedicated onboarding specialist, escalated phone support

Two differences stand out on the cards: Housecall Pro lists job costing and a price book on its first plan, where Jobber lists job costing on its third. Both list QuickBooks Online sync on their second plan.

Free trials

Both trials last 14 days, and neither asks for a card to start. Jobber's runs with Grow's features, and its add-ons, Receptionist among them, aren't available during a trial. Housecall Pro's runs with Max's features. If a trial ends before you pay, Jobber says nothing is deleted, and Housecall Pro that your data is safe.

Contracts and cancelling

  • Jobber, billed yearly: paid up front for the year. Cancel during it and you keep access to the end, but the payment isn't refunded.
  • Jobber, monthly on a one-year term: cancel during the year and you're still billed each month to the end of it.
  • Jobber, month to month: cancel at any time; it ends with the billing period you're in.
  • Housecall Pro: says it doesn't require long-term contracts, and bills yearly or monthly.

Jobber's subscriptions renew on their own unless set not to. Both let you move up a plan at any time, and down at the end of the billing period.

Card payment fees

Jobber lists 2.9% + 30¢ for a card payment, 2.7% + 30¢ with Tap to Pay on a phone, and 1% for a bank (ACH) payment, the same on every plan. On a $500 invoice paid by card, that's $14.80. Housecall Pro says its card fees start at 2.59% and bank payments cost 1%; its pricing page doesn't list every rate, so ask for yours before you compare.

AI that answers the phone

Both now sell an AI that answers calls. Jobber's Receptionist is included on Plus, and is a $29 a month add-on on select plans. Jobber's help pages disagree on what that includes: one says 30 conversations a month, then $0.79 each; another says 100 conversations a month. It needs a dedicated Jobber phone number, available in the US, Canada and the UK. Housecall Pro's pricing page lists CSR AI, which answers calls and chats day and night, without a price.
