Forward missed calls in Quo (OpenPhone)
No codes to dial. You add one step to your number’s call flow, after the step that rings your team.
Checked October 9, 2026against Quo’s call forwarding help
Before you start, have these
- A sign-in to Quo (OpenPhone) that can change settings. Some settings are only open to the account’s admin.
- Your answering service’s number: the number calls go to. With Wakeman, it’s on your Forwarding page.
Turn it on
In Quo, go to Settings → Phone numbers and choose your business number.
Choose Edit call flow. Keep “Ring users” first, then add a “Forward call” step after it, to your answering number.
Turn the call flow on, and check it says Live.
Forwarding the calls nobody answers is on Quo’s Business and Scale plans.
Test it
Call your business number from a different phone
Not the answering number. That only tests the answering service.
Let it ring. Don’t press decline.
Declining can count as busy, which is a different setting.
Check who answered
Your answering service should pick up. If your voicemail answers, forwarding isn’t on yet.
Turn it off
Open the same call flow, take out the Forward call step, and turn the flow on again.
If it didn’t work
- Check the call flow says Live after you save it.
- Keep “Ring users” as the first step, so your team still gets the call first.
- Still stuck? Our team can check it with you.
